. Over the past 20 years we have had numerous customers looking for this style of door holder. Our new Magnetic Door Holder and Stop comes in Brushed Stainless Steel and Brushed Brass finishes. The door stop and holder can be mounted on the wall or the floor and comes with all the fasteners that you would need. We are stocking both finishes and should have them in stock by September 7, 2012.
I am looking for a magnetic door stop that can handle a door with an automatic closer. The one I tried by Everbilt isn’t strong enough to hold the hold the door against the automatic closer. I believe Orion makes one that is strong enough but it comes from the UK and the shipping costs make it prohibitively expensive.
The only ones I know that are strong enough are the electrified ones made for fire doors, but these are wired into a fire alarm system.
