We ship the LCN 4111 EDA door closer which will replace the 4112, 4113, 4114, 4115 and 4116. The number 4110 is the LCN Door Closer series number. Were the 411 is the series and the last number is the spring size. In the old days the door closers were shipped with a specific spring size for a specific sized door. In the mid 1980′s that started shipping door closers with adjustable spring tension. The adjustable spring tension models have the number 1 at the end, so the model number would be 4111. This was a big advancement, in that stocking dealers no longer had to stock all the door closer sizes, they could stock one. We ship the LCN 4111 Door Closer, which will work on any size door, and meet the ADA standards for barrier free access to buildings. On the LCN Door Closers, they have a dial on the end of the cylinder which allows you to adjust the springs tension with a dial that will show the size of spring you have set it for. The benefit for building managers is they have the added flexibility to adjust doors to the tenets needs. If you have a tenet with children or are elderly, you can turn the spring tension down, which makes this door closer ideal for churches and day care centers.
The LCN 4110 is designed for use on the push side of the door, mounted on the door, and is an extremely heavy duty door closer ideal for exterior doors, or clean rooms. From your article it appears the LCN model 4113 is not adjustable?
The model 4113 is not power adjustable, but you can adjust the closing, latching and back check speeds. The LCN 4111 would have all the adjustments of the 4113, plus adjustable power.
