The number SL72, is telling me you have either the old Corbin 100 series or Russwin 2800. The newer Corbin Russwin DC6210 will work in its place, same mounting holes and everything: https://www.rbadoor.com/corbin-russwin-door-closer-dc6210.html

You can push it shut and it remains closed, but when opened again it stays open about 6″. I can send you picture of the door closer if you send me an e-mail.

Dan,
To replace the MS 92 Clarksdale ms door closer you would use the DC3210 or the DC6210 depending on the installation. If you have an interior door I would use the DC3210, shown on this page, https://www.rbadoor.com/corbin-russwin-door-closer-dc3210.html . If the door is an exterior door I would use the DC6210, which is shown on this page, https://www.rbadoor.com/corbin-russwin-door-closer-dc6210.html . Both of these door closer will have the same hole spacing as the MS 93 Clarksdale MS door closer.

Nathan,
The DC3210 and the DC6210 have the same hole spacings as the Clarksdale Miss SL72 Door Closer. They mount on the quick adapter plate the same way. If you have an interior door I would recommend the DC3210. If you have an exterior door I would recommend the DC6210. With either of these door closers, you will not have to re-drill holes. These door closer can be found on our website under Corbin Russwin Door Closers.

If not what would be a replacement for it and not have to drill holes. Thanks Nate
