We are now stocking the Von Duprin Lever Trim 050148 Shear Pin. This is the piece that locks the Lever Trim in place and connects it to the operating shaft. This pin is designed to break when a certain amount of force is applied to the lever. I am not sure what the force is, it is designed to break so the Lever Trim is not broken or bent. The Von Duprin Device Lever Trim Shear Pin-050148 is 3/16″ diameter by 5/8″ overall length. The pin fits on the shaft of the lever handle.
The above Shear Pin has a 3/16″ shaft diameter and is 5/8″ long.
