There are four different types of toilet partition stall mounting styles used in restrooms across the country.  They are Overhead Braced/Floor Anchored, Floor Mounted, Floor-To-Ceiling, and Ceiling Hung.  The first style of mounting is Overhead Braced/Floor Anchored.  For this style unit are recommended for heavy traffic and  vandalism-proof areas.  It is the most economical.   Anodized aluminum goes around the top to act as a brace.  They do not require any special floor construction, therefore they can be used in old or new buildings.  This is the most popular type of mounting method.  Below is an example of the Overhead Braced/Floor Anchored Toilet Partitions.

The second style is Floor Mounted Toilet Partitions.  On these the absence of top structure prompt the use of these units in low ceiling areas.  They offer a modern, contemporary appearance.   The do require a 3″ minimum variance concrete floor construction to secure the pilaster anchor packs.  Below is an example of the Floor Mounted Toilet Partitions.

The third method is Floor to Ceiling Toilet Partitions.  These bathroom stalls offer the most stable installation, and are ideal for high traffic and vandalism areas.  The are the most stable because the pilasters are anchored to the floor and the ceiling.  They are also the most expensive.  Below is an example of the Floor-to-Ceiling Mounted Toilet Partitions.

The last method is Ceiling Hung Toilet Partitions.  On Ceiling Hung Partitions the partitions are hung from the ceiling.  This makes them the best choice when you are trying to minimize maintenance.   The major drawback is they require structural steel reinforcement in the ceiling.  Below is an example of the Ceiling Hung Toilet Partitions.
