Are your Truth Entrygard housings cast with numbers 40372, 40471 or 40254.   If they are we still need to do a little work to figure out which Truth Entrygard you have.   The numbers 40372, 40471, or 40254 are found on about 20 different Truth Entrygard Operators.   We find this number on the Dual Arm, Dyad and Single Arm Operators.  We show the most common Truth Entrygard Cranks, Handle and Covers  on our website.  The difference between the Dual Arm, Dyad, and Single Arm are the arms.    The Dual Arm has two arms (actually three), one long arm about 9″ long and two shorter articulating arms.   On the two shorter arms, one is “S” shaped, and the other is straight with an offset down or up.   The straight arm has a slide clip on it that attaches to a bracket on the hinge side of the window.  The long arm slides in a track, and usually has a nylon roller on it.  The Dyad Arm Operator has two articulating arms riveted together.  The first arm coming out of the operator is either a “S”  or Diamond Shape.  This arm is attached to a straight arm that either offsets up or down, and has a sliding clip that attaches it to a bracket on the hinge side of the window.  The Single Arm Operator has just one arm that usually offsets down, and has a nylon roller on the end of the arm, which slides in a track.  Below I show examples of the Dual Arm, Dyad and Single Arm Operators.

In the above image, we are showing the Single Arm Operator. Note how the arm is one piece and has a nylon roller on the end.
